Avicii muere a los 28 años; músicos emiten condolencias

El DJ de origen sueco Tim Bergling, conocido como Avicii, murió a los 28 años este viernes en Mascate, la capital de Omán, dicta un comunicado de su representante. El músico era uno de los artistas de pop electrónico más conocidos y vendedores de la actualidad, aunque se había retirado en marzo de 2016:

"Con una profunda pena anunciamos la pérdida de Tim Bergling, también conocido como Avicii. Fue encontrado muerto en Mascate, Omán, este viernes por la tarde hora local, 20 de abril. La familia está devastada y les pedimos a todos que respeten su necesidad de privacidad en este momento difícil. No se darán más declaraciones", apunta la nota.

Conocido no solo por sus éxitos virales como 'Levels' o 'Wake me Up', Avicii viajó durante su carrera artística la distancia de la tierra a la luna tres veces.

En 2015, el músico decidió retirarse por motivos de salud. Se le conoce por su labor humanitaria e interés en cuestiones de caridad.

Avicci era sin duda uno de los grandes exponentes de la música electrónica contemporánea por lo que algunos de sus colegas han emitido sus condolencias:
