Escucha la nueva canción de Craig David en colaboración con Bastille

'I Know You' es la nueva canción de Craig David en colaboración con Dan Smith de Bastille. Este nuevo sencillo formará parte del nuevo álbum de David, titulado "The Time Is Now".

“It’s weird, when you’ve written a certain number of songs, you know when a song has something," he said of the track. "I’m so glad we actually did it, because we were talking about it for so long. But to also have a song that in its own right, if someone else was singing it and I heard it I’d be like ‘I wish I’d written that’.

"Es extraño, cuando escribes una cierta cantidad de canciones, sabes cuándo una canción tiene algo. Estoy tan contento de que lo hayamos hecho, porque estuvimos hablando de eso durante tanto tiempo. Pero también para tener una canción que, por derecho propio, si alguien más la cantaba y la escuché, sería como 'Ojalá hubiera escrito eso'", expresó Craig en entrevista para el diario 'The Independent'. 

Por su parte Smith agregó: "Siempre hemos sido grandes admiradores de la música de Craig y nos hemos hecho compañeros en los últimos años después de tocar algunos shows juntos, por lo que escribir una canción juntos en el estudio me pareció completamente natural. Nos divertimos mucho haciendo" I Know Tú "juntos, y estoy emocionado de que todos lo escuchen".

“I think every session I approach as something fun. When me and Dan came in together we were in sync, we were both open to doing something that leant a little bit out of our comfort zones. I think it’ll surprise a lot of Bastille fans, and my fans as well maybe. There’s something about this song. It feels like we delivered on something more than we could have delivered apart. These songs feel like they’ll stand the test of time.” 

El nuevo álbum del británico Craig David, saldrá a la venta en enero del 2018 y contará con las colaboraciones adicionales con AJ Tracey, Ella Mai, Kaytranada, JP Cooper y Goldlink.
